Donald Trump is dancing in Saudi Arabia
Trump, along with King Salman, was involved in the dance, which included singing, drums and swordsmanship during a Saudi concert at the welcoming ceremony of the US President in front of the King Abdul Aziz Historical Center in the capital, Riyadh, which hosts the lunch.
Trump arrived in Riyadh on Saturday morning as part of his first nine-day foreign tour, as well as Saudi Arabia, Israel, Italy, the Vatican and Belgium.
When he arrived in Riyadh, the US president chanted on his personal account on the Twitter social networking site Twitter and wrote: “It’s great to be in Riyadh, and I look forward to meetings in the afternoon and evening.”
On the other hand, the Saudi monarch responded with a tweet published in Arabic and English, saying: “We welcome the American president in the Kingdom. Your visit will enhance our strategic cooperation and achieve security and stability for the region and the world.”
Israeli media and news outlets on Sunday revealed a state of tension within the political and security circles in Israel because of the huge and lavish reception of US President Donald Trump in Saudi Arabia, adding that it would be difficult for Tel Aviv to welcome him like Saudis.
According to the Israeli news website Makor Rashon, Trump’s visit to Israel on Monday is highly controversial within the Israeli community, as it is short and known as a “working visit.” There is tension and anger in the Israeli system before it happens.
The Israeli website said Israel did not appreciate the size of the huge Saudi review and that Trump’s visit to Israel would look “miserable” compared to his visit to Saudi Arabia.
“We are not capable and do not intend to participate in the competition in the area of golden palaces and Saudi arms deals,” a senior Israeli official told Al-Abri.
